Friends Turned Family
To our African brother, Ben, and sister—well, almost! Just kidding, but seriously, you both feel like family to us. We miss the days when Ben was just 10 minutes away in Stratford. If Ben was free, he’d show up with a crate of Budweiser, ready to make any evening a great time. Those nights were special, filled with laughter and conversations that deepened our bond.
Congratulations again on the boat! Ben, your unique perspective on life is admirable. It’s refreshing and inspiring, reminding us to appreciate the endless possibilities life has to offer.
How could we ever forget the marathon day? You both travelled to the meet up points and then waited for eight hours! Ben’s green jacket was also helpful! If it weren’t for you guys, the race may have ended a different way. Having you at the finish line, lifted both our spirits, cheering Fizz on is what kept him going. Your support that day—and always—means the world to us.
Ben, you’ve always been a great friend, and Kim, your smile is one of the most beautiful sights in the world. Our time together in Spain was such a bonding experience, and those memories are ones I’ll treasure forever. Here’s hoping we get to do it all again someday.
We love you both and can’t wait to continue celebrating life’s moments with you. Thank you for always checking in, supporting us, and just being the incredible people you are.
